Fire Risk Assessment
Why?
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRO 2005) all persons responsible for buildings; be they landlords, tenants or managing agents, have a duty of care to carry out Fire Risk Assessment of their premises and associated areas. This replaces the ‘old’ fire officer’s visit and issue of fire certificates. This change puts the need to carry out Fire Risk Assessments squarely on the shoulders of the responsible person, making them liable under law.
Who?
To complete a Fire Risk Assessment, BS Publicly Available Specification 79:2007 (PAS 79), requires the assessors to be competent (Through qualification and experience) and the fire risk assessment to be suitable and sufficient.
Arion are fully qualified Fire Risk Assessors with a reputation that is second to none due to the thorough approach we apply in creating a complete fire management system, not just the assessment documentation. Our reputation for the work we do is such that we have ongoing contracts with clients such as Co-op, Gant UK, McDonalds, Valiant Petroleum and Bush Tyres to name but a few.
