Employers are required to carry out an assessment of first aid needs. This involves consideration of workplace hazards and risks, the size of the organisation and other relevant factors, to determine what first aid equipment, facilities and personnel should be provided.

We can deliver this course in house for up to 12 people at a cost of £600.00.  This includes all materials, assessment and certification. (Individual price £95)

 

 

Paediatric First Aid

Duration 2 days  (By arrangement can be run on non-consecutive days)
Description A very practical course which meets OFSTED requirements for first aid.  Each course is designed with  the specific needs of people who work with children and babies.  It covers first aid on children from birth to puberty

Prerequisites None
Suitability Anyone who works caring for children will be given the skills and confidence to deal with child related emergencies. Also, mums and dads will learn skills to deal with emergencies in the home
Typical Clients pre-schools, nurseries, child minders, parents, social workers, primary schools.
Certification A certificate valid for 1 year will be issued on successful completion of the course. Certification is dependent on successful completion of the practical activities and competence as assessed by the trainer.
