| Description | Our Emergency First Aid Course for the elderly is designed to address the needs of those who work in nursing homes or who may need to give first aid to the elderly. Completing this course will also meet the requirements of Appointed Person status, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. | |||||||||
| Objectives | You will learn basic life saving first aid. This is largely devised around the approved curriculum. However, we will design the content to address the specific needs of your environment.

| Suitability | This course is ideal for 'nominated' persons or for people who provide support to qualified first aiders and anyone who would like to know what to do in an emergency. | |||||||||
| Typical Clients | Nursing homes, retirement homes, adults with elderly dependants, | |||||||||
| Certification | Continuous assessment by trainer and a practical assessment at the end of the day. On successful completion you will receive a certificate which will be valid for 1 year. | |||||||||
