Paediatric First Aid
The aim of this course is to equip you with the theoretical knowledge, skills and confidence you need to deal with paediatric first aid situations. It covers all of the key topics including: emergency planning, assessing a situation, basic Life Support, CPR, shock, fractures, bleeding and a range of other minor illness and injuries. Please be aware that having a theoretical knowledge on its own is not enough to be considered competent in paediatric first aid and practical demonstration in some areas is required to complete this training. Aims of the Course
By the end of the course, you will be able to;

- Understand how to apply the essential knowlegde and skillset of a first aider
- Understand resusitation guidelines

This course is suitable for those who work with children or families who wish to increase their knowledge on paediatric first aid.

Assessment
Each module will have a set of questions you must answer correctly in order to successfully finish that module.
You will be asked a series of multile choice questions, for which the pass mark is 70%. There are 46 questions in total throughout the modules.
Certification
All of our courses are accredited by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to universally accepted Continuing Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.
On successful completion of the course, you will be sent an electronic quality assured certificate. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
