Aims of the Course

By the end of this course, you will be able to;

• Understand the extent and seriousness of aggressive pupil behaviour and know what you can do in line with the law
• Understand the aggressive curve
• Define what the SCARF model is
• Understand the law behind the course content
• Know the skills required for positive handling in schools

Who should take this course

This course is suitable for those who work in schools and with pupils who may present with aggressive behaviours. The course would also be suitable for those who want to eduate themselves on challenging behaviours in schools.

Assessment

Each module will have a set of questions you must answer correctly in order to successfully finish that module.

You will be asked a series of multile choice questions, for which the pass mark is 70%. The questions are marked automatically as you progress, so you will know whether you have passed the section before moving onto the next.

Certification

All of our courses are accredited by the CPD Certification Service as conforming to universally accepted Continuing Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.

On successful completion of the course, you will be sent an electronic quality assured certificate. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
