This course will teach you to identify the symptons of a stroke and understand the treatment options available.

Who should take this course

This course is suitable for those working in a care setting, who may be faced with the symptoms of a stroke and be required to care for those who may have suffered a stroke.

The course is also suitable for families of those who may have suffered a stroke, or those who wish to increase their knowlegde of strokes and the impact of them.

No previous knowledge or experience is needed to complete the course.

3 Diagnosis, treatment and recovery
4 Post stroke problems and care

 

Assessment

Each module will have a set of questions you must answer correctly in order to successfully finish that module. The questions are marked automatically as you progress, so you will know whether you have passed the section before moving onto the next.

For your final course assessment, you will be asked a series of multile choice questions, for which the pass mark is 70%.

Certification
