This course is aimed at users of display screen equipment, or DSE as it's often called. DSE is a term that covers a wide range of equipment. If DSE equipment like this is not set up correctly, users are at increased risk from certain disorders. As an employee, you share the responsibility to keep people safe at work. That means undergoing relevant training and ensuring that rules are followed.

Aims of the Course
By the end of this course, you will be able to;
- Understand what Display Screen Equipment is
- Understand what the legislation relevant to DSE is
- Understand how the importance of workstation ergonomics
- Understand how to improve the workstation including, chair, screens layout of the workstation etc.

This course is suitable for anyone whose job role which involves working with computers, office workers, personnel in I.T etc.
No previous knowledge or experience is needed to complete this course.

Assessment
Each module will have a set of questions you must answer correctly in order to successfully finish that module.
You will be asked 41 multiple choice questions and must achieve a pass mark of 70%. They are marked automatically as you progress so you will know whether you have passed the section before moving on to the next.
Certification

On successful completion of the course, you will be sent an electronic quality assured certificate. This can be used to provide evidence for compliance and audit.
