The course is designed to develop your understanding of the various parts of a scaffold, and the inspection procedures, for basis access scaffold.

Prerequisites
Nil.
Suitability
This course is suitable for Site Supervisors and Managers who have experience and understanding of scaffolding. The course is designed to assist them with their role of inspecting and checking scaffold in accordance with with the Work at Height Regulations 2005.
Qualification
On completion of this course delegates will receive a competency certificate.

Maximum course attendance is 8.

On completion of the course, delegates will be able to;
- Use the correct scaffold terminology.
- Know the relevant construction regulations and best practice for scaffolds.
- Know how to inspect tubes, boards and fittings correctly.
- Use ladders, gin wheels, ropes and scaffold ties correctly.
